Diploma Exhibition at the Royal William Victualling Yard, Plymouth.

Solo Exhibition, ‘Not Everything is Black and White’, at the Barbican Theatre, Plymouth

1998
Took part in two mixed shows, (one at Bond Pierce Solicitors,) representing young contemporary artists in the South West.
Exhibited at Plymouth arts initiative gallery, barbican, plymouth

1999
Exhibited at the Frame Shop Gallery, Plymouth City Centre

2000
Exhibited at Unique Image Gallery, Barbican, Plymouth.

2001
Solo Exhibition of the last two years work, titled ‘Evolution’, held at the Lane Gallery, Plymouth.
Exhibited with Robert Lenkiewicz and Christian Caramin at Plymouth City Museum.
Exhibited at Gallery Exclusive, Barbican, Plymouth.

2003

Curriculum Vitae

1995
National Diploma in Art and Design at Plymouth College of Art and Design.

1996
Travelled around Southern Ireland, Greece and Italy sketching Multi-Religious Iconography and Architecture.
Became a Self-Employed artist and Set up working studio on the Barbican, Plymouth.
Portrait commissions

1997
Took part in the ‘Water Front’ project through which I taught practical art to drug and alcohol rehabilitation groups in deprived areas of Plymouth.
Commissioned by Plymouth City Council, to do two external murals, situated on the Barbican, Plymouth.

1998
Helped set up Sculpture Studio in St Austell, Cornwall.
Joined the Arts Initiative, organised and ran the Initiative’s Gallery on the Barbican, Plymouth.
Five months spent researching and educating myself in Comparative Religious Belief Systems and Philosophies.
Three paintings selected and auctioned for breast cancer charity

1999
Took part in the ‘South West’s Open Studios Week’.
Spent time at a Benedictine Monastery, Crawly, Nr Reading.
Taught Art at Parkside Community College, Devonport, Plymouth.
Taught Practical Art at ‘Welby Mentally Disabled Unit’ and at ‘Waters Park Brain Damage Unit’ both in Plymouth.

2000
Worked with Syncopate Multi-Media Arts Ltd, developing multi-media performance exhibitions.
Released first set of Pro Racial and Sexual Equality T-shirt Artworks, titled the ‘Melanin People’, sold throughout the southwest.
Commissioned to design Bannerette by Plymouth City Council, situated in Plymouth City Centre for 8 years.

2001
Eight month contract to set up and manage the Lane Gallery and Twelve Studio’s for Artist’s and Craftspeople in Plymouth.
Hired by Cedar Homes to build scale models of modern housing developments, now being built at Cox side, Plymouth.
Part time restoration work on paintings and furniture for Antiques Company, ‘Upstairs Downstairs’
Worked with fishing museum to create life size gold gilded shark. Exhibited at the London national aquarium.

2002
Moved Studio from Plymouth down into Cornwall
Studio research and work on paintings and sculptures.

2003
Studio research and work on paintings and sculptures.
Sculpture course at Plymouth College of art and design.
The melanin people t-shirts worn by the royal navy female football team whilst on tour in Cyprus

2005
Studio and research work developing new style of paintings, titled ‘the symphonies’

2006
Time spent in Berlin, Germany, painting and doing research at museums and galleries.
Started selling new works ‘the symphonies’ through studio and in Europe

2007
Started doing drawing work for architectural and engineering companies in south west.

Opened studio to the public for two weeks
